Coach Huntley Selected to Coach USA team at the United World Games In Austria

University of Puget Sound Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach and Excel Sports Academy Basketball Trainer, Brandon Huntley, has been selected by STUDENTathleteWorld to represent the United States in the ¬†United World Games, an International Sporting Competition to be held in Klagenfurt, Austria, June 16-19, 2016.

Huntley, in his sixth year as the Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach and Recruiting Coordinator at the University of Puget Sound, will coach the U-16 USA Women’s Basketball team. ” I am very humbled and honored to represent not only the United States, but the University of Puget Sound and Excel Sports Academy this summer at the United World Games. This is an accomplishment that I have worked very hard for. My goal is to not only bring home a gold medal, but to open doors for the student-athletes I work with at Excel Sports Academy.”

Student-athletes are chosen for the team based on a combination of their athletic ability as well as their academics, leadership ability and character. The trip includes not only the international sport competition, but also sightseeing and opportunities for personal growth and leadership development through international travel. The team will travel to Munich Germany, Klagenfurt Austria, and Venice Italy.
